Gao has several years of experience in international commercial law, and is familiar with the legal systems and judicial culture in western countries and representing domestic and overseas clients in dealing with legal issues involving investments, operation and trading activities. Her sophisticated expertise includes corporate law, finance law, foreign and overseas investments.

As a professional lawyer, Ms Gao has been responsible for many foreign investment projects and overseas investment projects by Chinese firms and served as a legal adviser to several foreign companies. She is equipped with solid theoretical fundamentals and rich practical experience in the abovementioned fields.

Gao served as a legal advisor to a good number of foreign companies and large domestic companies, and has extensive practical experience as a consultant in corporate law. Her clients include Motorola, Petrobras Beijing Office, LexisNexis, Denmark VKR Group, China Guohua Electric Power Company, China Development Bank and its branches, HSBC Hong Kong and CADF.

Before joining Century-Link, Gao worked for the University of International Business and Economics, as a law lecturer; and served as the legal advisor to US CSR Co., Ltd, Beijing Baodai Biodesign Co., Ltd. and Netherlands TPG Group.

Gao published British and American Bankruptcy Law, a translation article, in Peking University Law Journal in 1984; and published Legal Issues Related to Corporate Law in 1985 and Foreign-related Economic Contract Law in 1988 respectively.
